Website’s Are For Winner’s: Learn The Basics of Creating Your First Website

I have mentioned this in other posts, but in case you missed it, owning a website isn’t a luxury or even too far fetched for the average Joe. No sirree, owning a website is mandatory and just as important as putting on a pair of pants. Your website is an extension of who you are and what you’re selling. In this day and age of technology and its advances, owning your own website is a necessity. You need to align yourself with your competition and the only way to do that is to leverage your presence digitally. Without a digital footprint your potential clients may not find you and won’t seek you out in the future either. These days, owning a website is just as important as a Doctor’s Degree on the wall of his office. It’s a validation of who you are and how serious you are about your business. You would never let a Doctor help you if he didn’t have proof of his education, nor will a customer allow you to work on their car if you aren’t professional enough to have a website. In a mobile situation, you have to remember that you are being allowed into the customers personal space and allowed a certain security clearance based on what they have read online about you. It’s a question of trust and somehow, our society has equated a website to be proof of someone you can trust.

This post will span over a few posts as we dig into the steps necessary for you to build a website. In the meantime, while waiting to read the next steps, you need to consider what you would like your website to be named. This is a lot trickier than you may think as the success or failure of your business starts with what you name it. This would not be the time to come up with silly names like “You Crash, We Fix”, “Crash Crunch Pop”, or “Brett is My Name, And Dents Are My Game”. Your name needs to be professional. Think about that while waiting for the next post.

Here at Learn Dent Repair, we are invested in your success.
