PDR Technicians: To Have A Money Making Machine, You Need Balance Part II

Being successful and making money at the same time is the name of the game. However, at what price? and at what point do you look back and realize that you have lost everything that was personally important to you? We all want to land the entrepreneurial money making machine but if you don’t plan and learn how to balance your life then the results, in the end, are more harmful than helpful.

So, without further ado, your first key to finding balance is to get your priorities straight. For this you will need to take a seat at your desk or wherever you normally perform your busy work. Take a blank sheet of paper out of the printer, then draw a large circle. You will need to write down on a separate piece of paper the tasks that you need to perform weekly. You will be breaking your circle in slices that will represent the hours that you want to dedicate to each task.

Your pie could have slices for family time, work, marketing (passing out flyers, going to car shows, sitting in market parking lots, and more), online business development   ( blogging, email marketing, responding to feedback, etc.), personal appointments (doctors, school plays, banking, errands, and more), physical fitness (gym, walking, lifting weights, and more).

Give this process a great deal of thought and don’t even consider how silly it feels. We are deliberately breaking your life into pieces so that you can better understand what you will need to do to get your life organized. Putting your life into perspective is exactly what you need to do to get your money making machine well oiled and working efficiently. In Part III we will be going into “Building a Sound Structure”. You don’t want to miss this as it is the next step to your permanent success.
