PDR Technicians: How To Attract The Right Customer’s

Have you ever paused to wonder how you got some of these customer’s that you have had to deal with? What is it that you are doing that is attracting cheap customer’s? There is nothing worse than getting a customer that will haggle with you for a better price. You need to remind yourself and maybe even them that this is not a Yard Sale or a Car Dealership. When you give a lower than wholesale price then the only person that it’s hurting is you. Don’t allow the customer to think that they have the right to do this. They don’t. This is a total lack of respect for your skills. In some cases, you may have to walk away from the job to make a point. These type of people may even make you think that they agree to your price only in the end when paying you they try to pay you less. This makes for a very awkward situation and these are the type of people that will try and sue you for just the tiniest of mistakes. You and I many never understand these type of people, but we all know someone like this.

One of the things that brings this type of person out of their dark corner are coupons. Coupons bring out the cheap in people and with cheap comes picky, a horrible combination. So what can you do? Start asking yourself the hard questions and make some hard rules with the results.

1. Where are the people at that I want to gain as a customer?

2. Where do they do business?

3. Where do they hang out in their leisure time?

Questions like these and more will help you to start thinking like your targeted demographic and will give you direction for where to go and start marketing.
