The Great Aluminum Mystery; Ford’s 2015 Aluminum Alloy F-150 Part III

Ford Blueprint

Leave the training and equipment to us, you however, need to stay on top of the information available to you. Keep your ear open to industry chatter. However, do not get caught up in the negative chatter. Stay positive and continue on your journey. The negative chatter comes from those that are afraid of change.

Information is going to be key to your success. Knowing what’s coming and where it is going is paramount and can be gathered from many sources. First and foremost, right here on our informative blogs. These blogs are written for this exact purpose. We have our finger on the pulse and will always bring that information to you. Keep tabs on all car brands to learn what they have coming down the production line. You would do this by going to their sites. Another source would be Body Shop Industry newsletters. They are out there and you have the best tool available, your laptop and internet connection. With these an many more tools, you can be right there in the middle of the excitement.

Ultimately, your two greatest tools are going to be the information you acquire through education and research and practice. You just need to set your mind and schedule to take advantage of every bit of information that you can get your hands on. Live it and breathe it and the learning curve will be lessened. Keep up your daily jobs but be completely aware so that you are not caught off guard when a dealership that you may work for once a week, contacts you and needs your input. Your knowledge alone will impress and perhaps secure you a more permanent position as the company guru on all things aluminum. Don’t come off as a know it all but be a know it all. Contact us for any questions.
